I like that 30 Rock won. It is the best comedy on TV. Alec Baldwin is very funny. But I was rooting for Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory. As for Tony Colette, whom I like a lot, I still wish Julia Louis Dreyfuss or Tina Fey had won.
Mad Men, of course, very deserving. The author, Matthew Weiner, created a believable world that makes everyone very interested in what’s going to happen next.
As for Bryan Cranston, he’s excelent in Breaking Bad (I saw only 3 or 4 episodes). But my favorites in this category were Michael C. Hall, of Dexter, and Gabriel Byrne, of In Treatment.
Glen Close is brilliant in Damages – I saw the first season. But I wanted Kyra Sedwick or Holly Hunter to win. I know Glen Close’s role is more a “tour de force”, but I like the other two series better. I think I can’t stand lawyers that much.
As for reality show, Amazing Race is my favorite, always. So, well done.
Grey Gardens was an very good movie; I saw only one other of the movies in the category.
As for Jon Stewart, he’s always the best.

E a Tony Colette, de quem eu gosto bastante, levou o prêmio de melhor atriz em comédia, mas mesmo assim eu queria que ganhasse a Julia Louis Dreyfuss ou a Tina Fey.
