I had dinner at WD-50. Very interesting and entertaining. I ordered the Tasting Menu. My favorites were the Foie Gras with Passion Fruit, the Cold Fried Chicken with Caviar and the Hazelnut Tart. Less favorite: Snails.
Jantei no WD-50. Muito interessante e divertido. Pedi o Menu Desgustação. Meus favoritos foram Foie Gras with Passion Fruit (Foie Gras com Maracujá), Cold Fried Chicken with Caviar (Frango Frito Frio com Caviar) e a Hazelnut Tart (Torta de Avelã). Menos favorito: Snails (Escargot).

Foie gras, passion fruit,
chinese celery – absolutely delicious! Salty and sweet and a little tart.
Foie Gras, maracujá, aipo chinês – absolutamente delicioso! Salgado e doce e um pouco azedinho.

Scallops, tendon, endive,
parsley, hazelnut oil – nice, but I don’t like scallops that much.
Vieiras, tendão de bife, endives, salsinha, óleo de avelã – gostoso, mas não sou muito de vieiras.

Squab, butternut noodles, cream soda,
carob - delicious, specially the squab.
Pombo, macarrão de abóbora, alfarroba – delicioso, especialmente o pombo.

Everything bagel, smoked salmon
threads, crispy cream cheese - super fun! The bagel is an ice-cream, the salmon is crunchy and the cream cheese is thin and crisp.
Bagel, salmão defumado, cream cheese – super divertido! O bagel é um sorvete, o salmão é crocante e o cream cheese é fininho e quebradiço.

Hazelnut tart, coconut,
chocolate, chicory – heavenly.
Torta de avelã, côco, chocolate e chicória – dos céus…

It was a beautiful day – a little too hot for me…- here in Miami.
